Birgit's Wishes - Signed Ornament with Stand

This beautiful ornament, mouth-blown and hand-painted by Inge Glas, is hand-signed by designer Birgit Mόller-Blech. It's ready to display on the included brass-finished ornament stand.

In 1999 Birgit was diagnosed lymphoma. Through 2003, Birgit battled the disease with determination, hope, and the support of her family. In a miraculous recovery, Birgit today is a cancer survivor.

Birgit and her husband, Klaus, have three children, and after experiencing this illness together, Birgit wanted to help other families fight cancer. She decided to support children dealing with similar difficult life situation.

Combining her love of design and her family heritage of glassmaking, Birgit created this angel ornament that reflects her personal inspiration. To Birgit, this angel is a symbol of God's love of herself and for her family. This angel represents strength, hope, courage, love and the power of prayer.

Birgit is pleased to announce that the United States Cancer Society for Children receives 15% of the proceeds form the sale of this ornament to help fund cancer research.
